The Storekeeper is responsible for the efficient management of food and beverage inventory and storage. This role demands keen attention to detail, exceptional organizational abilities, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain precise records of incoming and outgoing food and beverage supplies

• Regularly monitor stock levels and forecast inventory requirements

• Conduct routine physical stock counts and reconcile with inventory management system

• Detect and report discrepancies or damages in stock items

• Ensure proper storage and rotation of both perishable and non-perishable items

• Implement and adhere to appropriate storage and handling procedures to preserve product quality and safety standards

• Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure timely replenishment of stock

• Receive and inspect all inbound food and beverage deliveries, verifying quantity, quality, and compliance with established standards

• Verify invoices and packing lists against actual deliveries and promptly report discrepancies, damages, or quality issues

• Ensure accurate labeling, tagging, and storage of received items in designated areas

• Accurately fulfill requisitions for food and beverage supplies from various departments

• Package items for distribution, maintaining proper handling and storage practices

• Establish and maintain a comprehensive tracking system for all issued items

• Monitor and control access to storage areas to prevent unauthorized removal of stock

• Generate and maintain comprehensive records of inventory transactions, including receipts, issuances, and adjustments

• Prepare regular reports on stock levels, consumption trends, and inventory turnover

• Assist in conducting periodic inventory audits and reconciliations

• Provide timely and precise data for management reporting

• Adhere to all relevant health, safety, and sanitation regulations

• Follow established procedures for handling hazardous materials and ensure their safe storage

• Uphold cleanliness and organization in storage areas, adhering to sanitation guidelines

Qualifications & Assets:

• Minimum O’Level or equivalent education; additional certification in inventory management or related fields is advantageous

• Demonstrated experience as a Storekeeper or similar role within the food and beverage industry

• Profound understanding of inventory management principles and procedures

• Familiarity with food safety regulations and storage protocols

• Proficiency in using inventory management software and MS Office applications

• Exceptional organizational and time management skills

• Detail-oriented with a strong aptitude for precise data entry

• Ability to work independently or collaboratively within a fast-paced environment

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Physical stamina to handle and transport heavy stock items
