We now have an opportunity for a dynamic and experienced Store Manager to join our team.

Job Overview

We are currently seeking for a passionate and dynamic Store Manager who takes pride on their ability to deliver high-quality standards. Reporting directly to the Director of Engineering, this person will oversee and manage all the stock inventory procedures whilst ensuring proper storage of stock items and tools.  

Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Oversee day-to-day stores operations, ensuring efficiency and compliance with company policies.
  • Create and implement strategies to improve store performance, outputs, and profits.
  • Maintain inventory levels, perform regular stock checks, and implement effective replenishment strategies.
  • Work closely with the purchasing department to maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Oversee the store's visual presentation, ensuring that it is visually appealing and well-organized.
  • Prepare and manage the store's budget, keeping track of expenses.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, including health and safety standards. 

Requirements:

  • The selected candidate will have at least two - three years’ experience in a similar position, preferably in a mechanical engineering industry.
  • A good command of both written and spoken English and Maltese language.
  • A valid driving license B.
  • The candidate will be computer literate and familiar with organization of stocks and supply of parts, inventory management and stock control.
  • Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Fair understanding of health and safety rules and legislation.
