Receiving Officer

We are seeking a dedicated Receiving Officer to coordinate shipments within our warehouse. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse operations, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety, efficiency, and accuracy.

The Receiving Officer will report to the Warehouse Supervisor.

Responsibilities: 

• Overseeing and receipt of goods at the warehouse

• Assists in opening containers and unpacking and examining incoming shipments

• Rejects damaged items and shortages

• Ensures that the unloading of containers adheres to the health and safety standards of the warehouse

• Co- ordination of container unloading with shipping department.

• Recording of volume weights and measures as well as waste management data.

Ideal Requirements:  

• Able to write and converse in English.
• Possess a clean police conduct.
• Computer literacy.
• Specific knowledge to follow safety practices and procedures.
• Valid driving Licence B
• 1 year experience in a similar post
