Operations & Logistics Officer

S&T Services Limited in Malta is currently looking to recruit an Operations & Logistics Officer to join their team on a full-time basis.

About the Company:

S.&T. Services Ltd. is a Cargo and Freight Company, that takes care of both Commercial & Residential freight, haulage, customs clearance, and delivery needs as well as offering commercial storage solutions.

Therefore, the company wishes to announce the following vacancy for an Operations & Logistics Officer.

Reporting to the General Manager, within the company, responsibilities shall include:

Transportation and Freight Management, to arrange transportation and shipping of goods, selecting appropriate modes of transport and negotiating contracts with carriers and clients, ensuring compliance with transportation regulations, tracking shipments, and handling issues that may arise during transit 

Vendor, Supplier & Client Management, to develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, freight forwarders, suppliers and other logistics service providers alike. To offer and negotiate quotes, orders and contracts and seek opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.

Minimum Requirements:  

• Possession of a secondary O-level qualification/certification 
• The successful candidate is expected to be self-motivated, a good team player with good communication skills, and good command of MS Office365 Suite.
• Previous working experience is considered an asset although full training will be given.
• Candidate is expected to have a good understanding of spoken and written Maltese & English Language.
• Basic understanding of the Italian Language will also be considered an asset.
• Candidate must either be a Maltese and/or EU National and/or have a current Maltese Residency.
