Operations and Inventory Manager

Our client specializing in the IT industry is looking for an Operations and Inventory Manager. Your roles and responsibilities will include: 

Inventory Management

• Maintain optimal inventory levels to meet demand without overstocking.
• Conduct regular stock counts, audits, and reconciliations.
• Update records in the inventory management system.
• Address inventory discrepancies promptly.

Procurement

• Source and negotiate with suppliers for best terms and prices.
• Place purchase orders based on forecasts and reorder points.
• Manage supplier performance and resolve supply issues.
• Ensure timely receipt and documentation of goods.

Warehouse Management

• Oversee storage, handling, and movement of inventory
• Implement efficient storage solutions and maintain organization
• Ensure proper labeling and categorization of items
• Coordinate with logistics for shipments

Client Delivery

• Ensure timely and accurate product delivery
• Coordinate with sales and customer service on client needs
• Manage delivery logistics, including scheduling and transportation
• Resolve delivery issues to ensure customer satisfaction
• Track and report delivery performance metrics

Operational Efficiency

• Develop and implement SOPs for inventory, warehouse, and delivery management
• Utilize software to track, analyze, and report metrics
• Improve processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs
• Align inventory levels and delivery schedules with business needs

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Office Suite
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities

• Minimum of 3-5 years in inventory management, procurement, or a related role, preferably in a tech or distribution environment
