Logistics Manager / Sr. Executive

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established organisation for a Logistics Manager / Senior Logistics Executive to join its Supply Chain team.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in managing importation, logistics, and supply chain operations, ensuring goods are delivered efficiently, compliantly, and cost-effectively while contributing to the continuous improvement of logistics processes.

What You'll Be Doing

• Coordinate import shipments from booking through to customs clearance and final delivery.
• Ensure compliance with customs, importation, excise (EMCS), Intrastat, labelling, and other regulatory requirements.
• Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping agents, customs authorities, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure smooth logistics operations.
• Monitor shipment schedules, resolve delays, and proactively manage supply chain issues.
• Review freight costs, shipment documentation, and logistics-related invoices.
• Maintain accurate ERP records and logistics documentation.
• Support budgeting, reporting, and cost optimisation initiatives.
• Collaborate with Purchasing, Sales, Finance, and Warehouse teams to ensure supply chain visibility and efficiency.
• For Executive-level candidates, the role will also include supervising a small logistics team, driving process improvements, and acting as the escalation point for complex logistics matters.

What We're Looking For

• Experience in logistics, importation, freight forwarding, or supply chain operations.
• Good understanding of customs procedures, import regulations, and logistics compliance is a must
• Strong organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Good negotiation and communication abilities.
• Experience using ERP systems and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Team leadership experience will be considered an asset for Executive-level candidates.
• Knowledge of Eyesel is advantageous.
• Valid driving licence.
• Good command of the English language; knowledge of Maltese will be considered an asset.

The level of appointment will depend on the successful candidate's experience and expertise.
