Light Truck Driver - C1 Licence

Job Summary:

Our client is currently seeking a skilled and responsible individual with a valid C1 driving license. The ideal candidate will be tasked with transporting goods and/or passengers safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This position requires excellent driving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service. 

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate vehicles with a C1 driving license, ensuring the secure transportation of goods or passengers.
• Adhere to all traffic regulations and company policies while driving.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure proper functioning and identify any maintenance needs.
• Load and unload goods or assist passengers as required, ensuring items are handled safely and securely.
• Maintain accurate records of vehicle mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents or accidents encountered during transport.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members to coordinate schedules and resolve any issues that may arise during transportation.
• Follow safety protocols and procedures to minimise risks and ensure the well-being of passengers, cargo, and oneself.
• Provide excellent customer service, demonstrating professionalism and courtesy at all times.

Requirements:

• Valid C1 driving license.
• Clean driving record with no history of accidents or violations.
• Strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations.
• Ability to operate vehicles safely and confidently, including vans or trucks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
