Lead Dispatcher

Maypole (Holdings) Ltd in Malta is looking to recruit a trustworthy and highly motivated Lead Dispatcher to coordinate the dispatch and delivery section in our company. The selected candidate shall be responsible of a team of employees to instil teamwork and provide support to the department.

Main duties and responsibilities:

• Coordinating orders with the factory sections;
• Coordinating orders for delivery and dispatch in correct timing;
• Coordinating work among different delivery points;
• Ensuring production material is at dispatch area for inspection prior to delivery;
• Registering and checking of returns of food items;
• Ensuring accuracy of records in terms of quantity and timing;
• In charge of time and attendance for both the delivery persons and dispatchers;
• In charge of the maintenance of the company vans.

Requirements:

• A’ Level standard of education;
• Excellent writing skills in both Maltese and English;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft office applications;
• Able to work in a fast paced environment;
• An eye for detail;
• The ideal candidate must be willing to work nights.
