Forklift Driver

Feelings Enterprises Limited in Malta is currently looking to recruit a Forklift Driver to join their team on a full/part-time basis.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Forklift Driver. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a forklift to move, locate, relocate, and stack safely and efficiently. 

Responsibilities

• Safe Operation: Operate a forklift safely and efficiently, following all safety guidelines and protocols
• Material Handling: Move, stack, and organise merchandise using the forklift to ensure efficient storage and retrieval
• Loading and Unloading: Load and unload materials from trucks and transport them to designated areas within the facility
• Inventory Control: Count and verify merchandise to ensure accuracy and maintain proper inventory levels
• Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on the forklift, such as checking fluid levels, inspecting equipment, and reporting any issues to the supervisor
• Documentation: Keep accurate records of materials handled, ensuring proper documentation for inventory control
• Communication: Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate work activities and ensure a smooth workflow.

Requirements

• Forklift Certification: Possess a valid forklift operator certification
• Experience: Proven experience as a forklift operator in a warehouse or manufacturing setting
• Safety Awareness: Strong commitment to safety and adherence to safety protocols
• Attention to Detail: Keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy in material handling and inventory control
• Communication Skills: Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and follow instructions
• Reliability: Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
