Driver

Job Description
Airswift Couriers Ltd in Malta is currently looking for an experienced and reliable Driver to join their team on a full-time basis.

Job Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods in a safe and timely manner, maintaining the vehicle and following all relevant safety regulations in accordance with Transport.

Responsibilities:

• Follow all applicable traffic laws and regulations
• Maintain a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Load and unload cargo safely
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintenance
• Ensure the vehicle is clean and presentable
• Follow assigned delivery/pickup schedules and timelines
• Provide excellent customer service
• Maintain accurate records of trips, expenses and deliveries
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a driver
• Excellent driving skills
• Good knowledge of area roads
• Ability to lift heavy loads
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Strong customer service skills
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
