We are looking for an experienced and reliable Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods in a safe and timely manner, maintaining the vehicle and following all relevant safety regulations in accordance with Transport.
Responsibilities:
- Follow all applicable traffic laws and regulations
- Maintain a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Load and unload cargo safely
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintenance
- Ensure the vehicle is clean and presentable
- Follow assigned delivery/pickup schedules and timelines
- Provide excellent customer service
- Maintain accurate records of trips, expenses and deliveries
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a driver
- Excellent driving skills
- Good knowledge of area roads
- Ability to lift heavy loads
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
