Delivery Driver

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Delivery Driver to join our construction team in Malta. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of construction materials, tools, and equipment to various project sites while providing general support to site operations.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a hands-on working environment, takes pride in safe driving practices, and is willing to assist with general site duties when required.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely transport construction materials, tools, and equipment between company premises, suppliers, and construction sites.

• Load and unload materials, equipment, and supplies from vehicles.

• Ensure deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule.

• Assist with the movement and organization of materials on site.

• Support site teams with general labouring duties when required.

• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any defects or maintenance requirements.

• Ensure all loads are secured and transported in accordance with safety regulations.

• Maintain delivery records and obtain delivery confirmations where necessary.

• Keep vehicles clean, organized, and in good working condition.

• Follow all company health and safety procedures.

Skills & Competencies

• Good driving skills and knowledge of local roads.

• Ability to safely load, unload, and handle construction materials.

• Physically fit and capable of lifting and carrying heavy items.

• Strong awareness of health and safety practices.

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• Ability to follow instructions and prioritize tasks effectively.

Requirements

• Valid driving licence.

• Previous experience as a delivery driver or in the construction industry is considered an advantage.

• Ability to communicate in English.

• Physically capable of performing manual handling duties.

• Positive attitude and willingness to assist with general site work.

• Candidates applying for this position must be residing in Malta.
