Courier

We are currently recruiting for a Courier. This role is ideal for a dependable and organised individual who enjoys being on the road and takes pride in delivering a professional service. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient collection and delivery of documents, parcels, and other business-related items while supporting the company's day-to-day operations.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Safely transport documents, parcels, equipment, and other items between company locations, clients, suppliers, and external organisations;
• Complete scheduled collections and deliveries efficiently, ensuring all items reach their destination on time;
• Carry out business-related errands to various external organisations and stakeholders as required;
• Plan daily routes effectively;
• Safeguard confidential documents and company property throughout the transportation process;
• Assist with general logistics and provide operational support whenever required;
• Complete delivery records and maintain accurate logs ;
• Perform regular vehicle inspections to ensure the company vehicle remains clean, safe, and in excellent working condition;
• Promptly report any mechanical issues, damage, or incidents involving the company vehicle;
• Adhere to road traffic regulations, company procedures, and health and safety standards at all times.

Requirements

• Clean and valid driving licence B;
• Knowledge of Maltese roads;
• Ability to multi task and work independently;
• Flexible and willing to adapt to changing business needs when required;
• Ability to lift heavy things;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Proficiency in Maltese is preferred.
• Candidates must be located in Malta and hold a valid work permit.

Education and Experience

• Previous experience as a courier driver is considered as an asset;
