Logistics Officer / Logistics Executive

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established organisation for a Logistics Officer / Logistics Executive to join its Supply Chain team.

The level of appointment will be determined based on the selected candidate's experience and expertise.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for logistics professionals to contribute to the efficient management of importation, customs clearance, and supply chain operations within a dynamic business environment.

What You'll Be Doing

• Coordinate import shipments from booking through to final delivery.
• Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, shipping agents, and customs authorities.
• Prepare, verify, and maintain shipping and import documentation.
• Support customs clearance processes and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Monitor shipment schedules and proactively resolve logistics issues.
• Maintain accurate ERP records and logistics data.
• Collaborate with warehouse, purchasing, sales, and finance teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Assist with logistics reporting, cost control, and process improvement initiatives.
• For more experienced candidates, the role may include team supervision and greater operational responsibility.

What We're Looking For

• Experience in logistics, importation, freight forwarding, or supply chain operations.
• Good understanding of shipping documentation, customs procedures, and logistics processes for the executive level
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Experience using ERP systems.
• A valid driving licence.
