Shipping Clerk (Maternity Cover)

This job of a Shipping Clerk falls under the remit of the Logistic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with the shipping operations, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products, and maintaining inventory records.

Responsibilities:
- Maintain and create a list of contact details for all suppliers, local handling agencies, ship agents and hauliers
- Correspond with various shipping agencies to negotiate and get best prices while booking the required freight
- Responsible to check all documents received by suppliers
- Collaborate internally with all departments to ensure logistics process are being performed within a timely manner (follow up on the ETA).

• Good level of communication - written and verbal
• Native level of Maltese and professional level of English is a must
• Knowledge of Italian is desirable
• Good at multi-tasking and organised
• Basic knowledge of shipping regulations and procedures needed

• Diploma Level of Education is preferred
• 1 year experience in a similar role will be seen as advantageous
• Computer Literate in MS Office Applications especially Excel and Outlook
