Test Analyst

Our client, operating in the Payments industry, is looking for a Test Analyst, to join their growing team: 

Responsibilities:

• Comply with the company's test Strategy and quality standards.
• Review and interpret requirements documentation to fully understand client needs.
• Design, develop, and maintain test cases and scripts (manual and automated).
• Ensure test cases are traceable and well-documented.
• Collaborate with stakeholders for test case review and incorporate feedback.
• Execute tests and analyze application behaviour, documenting results and evidence.
• Identify, log, and track defects using Jira, ensuring timely resolution.
• Support developers in defect analysis and retesting after fixes.
• Record and report test results using appropriate tools.
• Accurately update task statuses in accordance with workflows and processes.
• Take ownership of assigned tasks and ensure timely completion.
• Gain proficiency in RS2’s automation tools and related procedures.

• Strong planning and time management skills.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and database concepts.
• Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Zephyr, Jenkins.
• Broad understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle and testing methodologies.
• Strong planning and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Degree in Business and IT or equivalent professional qualification.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in software testing.
• ISTQB certification and experience in the payments industry will be considered an asset.
