The Modern Workplace Team, within MITA’s Chief Technology Office, is at the forefront of digital transformation across the Government of Malta. We are committed to deliver continuous improvement by empowering the Public Administration with a modern, secure, and collaborative digital environment built on Microsoft technologies, including Microsoft 365 services, Powerplatform, Microsoft Copilot and other AI technologies.

As our team expands, we are seeking a Solutions Architect to join us on this exciting journey. In this role, you will:

• Collaborate with enterprise stakeholders to design and implement innovative solutions that enable digital transformation.

• Provide technical expertise and guidance on cutting-edge technologies that MITA is deploying across government.

• Play a key role in shaping the modern workplace experience for thousands of users, by assisting in solution design for enterprise applications, review architectural diagrams, technical documentation, and proof of concepts. 

• Support the development and deployment of AI technologies within the public administration.

What we’re looking for:

• Experience in any of the above-mentioned technologies and ability to technically lead projects.

• Passion for modern workplace technologies and a commitment to continuous professional growth.

Eligible candidates will hold either of the following combinations of qualifications and/or experience, related to ICT.

Either:

i. An ICT degree (MQF Level 7 or higher); OR

ii. An ICT degree (MQF Level 6) AND 1‐year experience in an ICT related area; OR

iii. An ICT diploma (MQF Level 5) AND 3 years' experience in an ICT related area; OR

iv. An ICT diploma (MQF Level 4) AND 4 years' experience in an ICT related area; OR

v. Five years' experience in an ICT related area.
