Backend Developer (GoLang)

What you'll be doing

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Go (Golang).
• Build scalable APIs, microservices, and distributed applications.
• Develop reliable, secure, and high-performing systems capable of supporting growing business demands.
• Integrate with databases, third-party services, and external platforms.
• Collaborate with Product, QA, and DevOps teams throughout the development lifecycle.
• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical design decisions.
• Troubleshoot production issues and contribute to continuous platform improvements.
• Champion engineering best practices, code quality, and maintainability.

Requirements

• Strong commercial experience developing applications in Go (Golang).
• Solid understanding of backend architecture, software design principles, and distributed systems.
• Experience building RESTful APIs and scalable backend services.
• Good knowledge of relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Experience working with Git and modern development workflows.
• Experience with automated testing and software quality practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for building reliable software.

Education and Experience

• Minimum of a Diploma Level 5 in Software Development or a related field.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, microservices, cloud environments, or messaging technologies is considered an advantage.
