Truck Driver (Heavy Goods Vehicle)

RM Developers Ltd is currently seeking to recruit a number of Truck Drivers to join their team on full-time basis. Only candidates residing in Malta, with a valid working permit will be taken into consideration.

Job Role:

A skilled and experienced individual is being sought to join our team within the role of Truck Driver. The selected candidate must be fully qualified to legally, safely and efficiently operate a category C1/C Heavy Goods Vehicle. An attractive renumeration is being attached to this post, which shall be individually discussed with the respective applicant. 

Responsibilities and key performance indicators:

Delivery of construction goods and materials to and from our sites,

Load and unload construction goods and materials,

To fill-in the respective paperwork such as delivery notes, 

Maintain daily activity log sheet/s in view of driving,  

To be responsible from the inspection of the vehicle before the start and end of daily operations, 

To upkeep the vehicle and all associated equipment clean,

To report any accident, injury or damage to the vehicle, 

To secure and properly load materials and equipment, 

To effectively communicate with other team members and site supervisors, 

To adhere to all safety regulations and protocols, 

Requirements:

To possess a valid EU driving licence for category B (CARS), C1 and C (TRUCKS), 

To possess a valid CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) code 95,  

To have a minimum of 2 years working experience within similar roles,

To possess good communication skills and the ability to work under pressure, 

To speak fluently in Maltese and or English,

The flexibility to work extended hours as needed by the company.

Desirable:

The ability to drive and operate a Ready mixer.

The ability to drive and operate a Crane, 

To possess a valid category CE driving licence (TRUCK WITH TRAILER).

To posess a Health and Saftey and a First Aid training qualifciation,

To posesse a valid BCA skill card.
