Street Sweeper

HireHound Recruitment in Malta is currently looking to recruit a Street Sweeper to join their client's team on a full-time basis

Job Summary:

The Street Sweeper is responsible for maintaining clean and safe streets, sidewalks, and public areas. This role involves around operating street sweeping machinery, performing manual cleaning tasks, and ensuring the general cleanliness of assigned areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate street sweeping machinery
• Sweep sidewalks and curbs
• Collect and dispose of litter and debris
• Report mechanical issues to the supervisor
• Follow safety guidelines and wear PPE
• Report hazardous conditions to the supervisor
• Maintain logs of work completed
• Document incidents and submit reports as required
• Interact courteously with the public
• Provide information or assistance as needed
• Work with other maintenance personnel. 

Requirements:

• Ability to operate cleaning equipment, physical stamina, and good communication skills.
