Job Description

1. Operation of truck and trailer in yard or on site.

2. Minimise the amount of reversing where possible and be aware of the dangers caused when reversing.

3. Keep traffic areas free of pedestrians.

4. Be fully compliant with PPE requirements of the site

5. Communicate clearly and effectively on the 2 way radio at all times.

6. Report any near miss incidents involving vehicle movements in the yard or on site to management.

7. Comply with all Health, Safety, HR and Environmental policies and procedures.

8. Assist in loading / unloading

9. Manoeuvre truck into site

10. Report defects, accidents or violations

11. Document and log service order reports of jobs performed

12. Report serious mechanical problems to the appropriate personnel and check oil and fuel levels regularly.

13. Keep truck, and associated equipment, clean and in good working order.

14. Setting up of traffic / pedestrian signs and no entry zone.
