Tourist Bus Driver with D License (Offering Tours and Sightseeing)

WT Continental in Malta is currently looking to recruit Tourist Bus Drivers to join their team on a full-time basis.

Overview:

We are looking for experienced and enthusiastic Tourist Bus Drivers with a D License to join our team and provide exceptional tours and sightseeing experiences for our customers. As a Tourist Bus Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a bus while providing informative and entertaining commentary on various tourist attractions and destinations.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a tourist bus and adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
• Provide exceptional customer service and create a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for passengers
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the bus to ensure it is in good working condition
• Plan and follow designated tour routes, making necessary adjustments for traffic or road closures
• Provide informative and interesting commentary on tourist attractions and destinations
• Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking the bus, as well as with any special needs or requests
• Handle any emergencies or unexpected situations that may arise during the tour
• Maintain a clean and organized bus, including regular cleaning and restocking of supplies.

Requirements:

• Valid D License and a clean driving record
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a bus driver, preferably in a tourist or sightseeing setting
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Knowledge of local tourist attractions and destinations
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Ability to handle unexpected situations and remain calm under pressure
• Physical ability to sit, stand, and drive for extended periods of time
• Fluent in English, additional languages are a plus.
