Beach Attendant

Job Summary: We are seeking a friendly, energetic, and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Beach Attendant. The primary responsibility of the Beach Attendant is to ensure the safety, comfort, and satisfaction of beach guests by providing excellent service, maintaining cleanliness, and managing beach activities. The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills and a strong work ethic to provide a welcoming and safe environment for all guests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist beachgoers, ensuring they have all necessary equipment (towels, chairs, umbrellas, etc.) and information.
• Set up and maintain beach equipment, such as chairs, umbrellas, and cabanas, ensuring they are clean, safe, and properly positioned.
• Monitor beach areas for cleanliness and safety, regularly collecting trash and ensuring the environment is well-maintained.
• Enforce beach rules and regulations, ensuring guests’ safety at all times, especially in water activities.
• Assist with the rental of water sports equipment (e.g., jet skis, kayaks, paddleboards) and ensure proper usage and safety guidelines are followed.
• Respond to guest inquiries, providing local information and recommending beach activities, dining options, and attractions.
• Monitor weather conditions and notify guests about any potential safety hazards, including storms or rough seas.
• Report any incidents, accidents, or maintenance issues promptly to the supervisor.
• Assist with organizing and participating in beach events or activities, such as volleyball, fitness classes, or special promotions.
• Provide first aid assistance when necessary and ensure guests are aware of the nearest lifeguard station.

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in customer service, preferably in a beach or resort environment.
• Basic knowledge of first aid and CPR (certification preferred).
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact effectively with guests of all ages.
• Friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor.
• Physically fit and able to lift and move beach equipment (up to 30 pounds).
• Knowledge of water safety procedures and local beach regulations.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• A passion for providing excellent customer service and ensuring guest satisfaction.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in water sports or recreational activities.
• Multilingual skills (preferred but not required).
