Technician

Basis: Full-Time

Job Description:

A Technician position is now open with a local company that specializes in automotive equipment and industrial supplies.

Responsibilities:

• Service and maintain equipment ensuring they meet the required standards and specifications.
• Electrical and mechanical installation works.
• Testing and commissioning of new installations.
• Carrying out fault finding, repair and maintenance of equipment, which may include replacement of components.
• Handling client complaints and providing solutions as necessary.
• Upgrades of components/systems.
• Carrying out scheduled preventive maintenance as per manufacturer’s manuals.
• Ensure safety regulations are met at all times.
• Any other relevant duties as may be required by the job holder.

Skill-sets and Requirements:

• Certified by MCAST (H&D or HTD) or the Technical Institute – MQF Level 4 / 5 qualification in Manufacturing or Engineering as a plus.
• In possession of Licence A and/or B is seen as a plus.
• Minimum 1-year experience working in a similar role.
• Possess good communication skills.
• Be a good team player.
• A driving license is required.
• Knowledge of English, and Maltese.

*Salary range: €18,000 to €22,000.
