Steel Fabricator/Welder

We are currently looking to recruit a Steel Fabricator / Welder to join our client's team on a full-time basis.

Job Role:

Are you a skilled and experienced Steel Fabricator and Welder? As a Steel Fabricator and Welder, you will be responsible for performing general repairs, fabrication, and installations of structures in steel, stainless steel, or alloy material. This role requires adherence to client requirements, manufacturer guidelines, and assignments from supervisors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret fabrication drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications
• Measure, mark, cut, and shape steel materials to specified dimensions
• Use tools such as saws, grinders, plasma cutters, torches, and hydraulic presses
• Weld and bolt components together to assemble finished structures
• Operate machinery like drills, shears, brake presses, and CNC equipment (if applicable)
• Check finished products for accuracy, alignment, and compliance with quality standards
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
• Follow all safety regulations and company procedures
• Collaborate with welders, engineers, and other team members to complete projects. 

Qualifications: (Welder)

• Proven experience as a welder or in a similar role
• Proficiency in various welding techniques (e.g., MIG, TIG, Stick, Arc)
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
• Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing (face-shield, gloves, etc.)
• Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy items
• High school diploma or equivalent; welding certification or technical training is a plus.

Qualifications: (Steel Fabricator)

• Experience as a steel fabricator or in a similar role
• Proficiency with fabrication tools, welding, and machinery
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans
• Strong attention to detail and a focus on quality
• Physical ability to handle heavy materials and perform manual tasks
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade certification is a plus.
