Technical Mechanic

Working on a variety of industrial installations, the Tradesperson will be responsible for:

a) Ensuring installations are carried out in accordance with manufacturer guidelines

b) Effectively and efficiently carry out welding works on a variety of structures

c) Effectively diagnose mechanical problems and perform repairs and maintenance works

d) Skilled in Hydraulics and heavy machinery

e) Skillfully fabricate any parts required to achieve the best fit

f) Install parts and modifications to ensure safe functionality and customer satisfaction

g) Notifying and reporting all components, materials and consumables used

h) Any ad-hoc work that may occur due to business exigencies.

The successful candidate should preferably have:

• 1 – 3 years of relevant working experience
• A Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or the equivalent, would be beneficial
• A formal welding certification would be considered an asset
• The ability to work on their own initiative as well as form part of a team
• The ability to work at heights
• Fluency in Maltese and English would be considered an asset.

As a Mechanical/ Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for:

Tasks:

• Working on mechanical and electrical installations as well as preventive maintenance
• Understanding and following electrical diagrams and schematics
• Fault diagnostics and repair works as per manufacturer’s procedures
• Any ad-hoc work that may occur due to business exigencies.

The ideal candidates should have:

• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience
• A Technical or Mechanical Diploma or the equivalent qualification
• The ability to work on their own initiative as well as form part of a team
• Fluency in English
• A valid driving license.
