General Soft Drinks Co Ltd in Malta is currently looking to recruit a Production Technician to join their team on a full-time basis.
Job Role:
Perform predictive, routine, preventive, and breakdown maintenance on production equipment to ensure the smooth operation of the production facility. Be a key player within the production team and give his utmost to the management to reach departmental goals.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely and correct start-up of both the Water Line and Soft Drinks Line
- Work as a team member and in close collaboration with the team leader
- Plan and organize work with a methodical approach to keep the time of interventions as short as possible, whilst ensuring the maximum benefit of work in respect of yields and efficiency
- Work with minimum supervision and show enough initiative and drive to complete work to the required standards. He must show diligence in his work by responding quickly to maintenance calls whilst liaising fully with the department concerned
- Perform breakdown predictive, routine, and preventive maintenance on production lines and related equipment as requested by the Production Manager
- Ensure that all required information is logged/recorded and analyzed, and that relevant preventive action is taken to avoid/minimize downtime. Ensure that all forms are filled correctly and handed over within the days, week, or monthly time frame.
Requirements:
- Ideally holder of Electrical License A and B (A minimum of License A)
- Able to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions
- Able to multitask, prioritize and manage time efficiently
- Able to take own initiative to recommend improvements to equipment
- Able to work both alone as well as in a team
- Strong technical background.
