Mechanical Technician

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Technician to join our team. This individual will be responsible for maintaining and repairing mechanical equipment and systems in our facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mechanical principles and be able to troubleshoot and solve complex mechanical issues.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine maintenance on mechanical equipment and systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues in a timely manner.
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks to ensure equipment longevity.
- Collaborate with other team members to identify and solve mechanical problems.
- Keep detailed records of maintenance and repairs performed.
- Monitor equipment performance and make recommendations for improvements.
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations while working on equipment.
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in mechanical technology and techniques.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent, technical degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Mechanical Technician.
- Previous experience in a production/manufacturing environment is a must.
- Strong understanding of mechanical principles and systems.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical manuals and diagrams.
- Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy equipment.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
