Manufacturing Maintenance Technician

Our client is looking for a Maintenance Technician to joining their team of talented individuals. 

• Collaborate with the Production team, Maintenance Technicians, and Engineers on various operational projects to boost production output and quality while managing costs effectively.
• Troubleshoot and repair various types of plant, production, and packaging equipment as needed.
• Assist operators with setup and troubleshooting to ensure production equipment operates at maximum efficiency.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on plant and production machinery.
• Conduct major repairs on plant and production equipment, including general maintenance and upkeep of facility and utilities like air-handling units, water systems, compressed air, and steam systems.

This role is offered on a 4-shift basis (Day - Night - Rest - Off)

• Previous experience in a pharmaceutical environment.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic control principles, as well as chilled water systems, compressed air systems, and purified water systems.
• Skills in analyzing and troubleshooting equipment problems, identifying solutions, and recommending and implementing resolution methods and techniques.
• Excellent communication skills and proficiency in English, both spoken and written.

• A relevant diploma (MQF level 4 or higher)
• Previous relevant experience.
