Maintenance Technician

Salary Bracket (€28,000 to €32,000 p.a.)

Hili Ventures is seeking to recruit a reliable and hands-on professional to join its Facilities function as a Maintenance Technician. The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting the upkeep, functionality, and safety of the offices and residential properties across Malta, ensuring the facilities are maintained to a high standard and remain fully operational.

Reporting to the Facilities Manager, the Maintenance Technician will be responsible for carrying out a broad range of maintenance tasks, including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, plastering, and basic repairs. The role involves responding to maintenance requests, conducting routine inspections, and supporting preventive maintenance activities.

The selected candidate will also coordinate with contractors when required and work closely with the wider maintenance team to ensure works are completed efficiently, safely, and in line with established standards.

THE REQUIREMENTS

The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role, supported by strong all-round maintenance skills and sound electrical knowledge, with License A being considered an asset. Basic HVAC experience will be viewed favourably.

Candidates should be capable of working independently, managing priorities, and adopting a proactive approach to identifying and resolving maintenance issues. Fluency in English and strong communication skills are essential. A valid driving licence and flexibility to travel between company properties are required, as is availability to support emergency call-outs when necessary.
