Maintenance Technician

Andrews Feeds in Malta is currently looking to recruit a Maintenance Technician to join their team on a full-time basis.

Overview:

The Maintenance Technician is required to maintain, troubleshoot and repair a variety of electrical and mechanical equipment in a feed manufacturing environment. This position requires proficiency in multiple technical skills, such as electrical installations and control systems. The Maintenance Technician is expected to identify modifications and upgrades of equipment, keep maintenance records updated and assist the Production Manager with keeping a stock of spare parts. The Maintenance Technician will assist and train operators with setting up of the machinery and promote safe working practices and ensures that safety protocols are observed.

Requirements:

• Possess an appropriate Technical Diploma from MCAST or equivalent
• Possess an Electrical Authorisation ‘B’ as issued by REWS
• Possess a work permit that enables him to work in Malta
• Knowledge of MS Office to prepare reports
• Possess initiative and the ability to motivate and lead a team
• Prepared to undertake additional training as necessary.
