Maintenance Person

Hili Ventures is seeking to recruit a skilled and reliable Maintenance Person to oversee the upkeep and maintenance of a residential property.

The Maintenance Person will be engaged to manage preventative and corrective maintenance, carrying out household repairs, coordinating works with external contractors and performing any necessary fixes to ensure that the residence remains in excellent condition at all times.

The successful candidate will perform routine maintenance and repairs including plumbing, carpentry, painting and general household repairs, inspect and troubleshoot equipment and household systems such as lighting and appliances and address any issues promptly. Liaising with external contractors for any specialised services, supervising contractors work, monitoring stock maintenance supplies and responding to emergency maintenance requests in a timely and efficient manner are also key aspects of the role.

THE REQUIREMENTS

The ideal candidate will be an experienced handyman, highly skilled when working with hand tools and power tools with knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry and other general repair skills. The successful candidate will be proactive, able to work independently, with attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Physical stamina, the ability to follow technical manuals and good communication and interpersonal skills are also important attributes.
