Handyman
SmartCity (Malta) Ltd is currently looking to recruit a Handyman to join their team on a full-time basis.
Job Description:
We are currently seeking a multi-skilled and experienced Maintenance Officer to join our Facilities Management team in a full-time role / 40hrs per week / between 07h00 – 15h30 daily.
Responsibilities:
- General maintenance work including plumbing, carpentry, general plastering, and painting
- Assist in the preventive and corrective maintenance of plants and equipment under the guidance of technical staff
- Handle the maintenance of general office fixtures, bathrooms, doors, apertures, and furniture
- Assist electrical technicians in electrical works, when required
- Perform basic plumbing troubleshooting and repairs
- Inspect the property and report any maintenance-related issues
- Supervise 3rd party contractors on premises
- Attend to basic wear and tear when needed.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 4 years work experience in a similar role
- Pleasant personality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good organising and time-management skills
- Fluency in spoken and written Maltese and English
- A ‘can do’ and problem-solving approach
- Quality work and attention to detail
- Clean police conduct and driver’s license
- Knowledge of basic welding will be considered an asset.
