Maintenance Coordinator

The Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for scheduling, coordinating, and supervising a team of technicians in the execution of preventive maintenance, small job installations, and the testing and commissioning of mechanical systems. 

This role involves liaising with clients, sub-contractors, and suppliers, as well as collaborating closely with project managers and the M&E coordinator to ensure the timely and efficient completion of all jobs, projects, and maintenance schedules.

Responsibilities:

Planning and Delegating Works:

• Plan and delegate work to team members based on their skills and expertise.
• Coordinate and direct technicians to ensure successful project execution, including support and emergency callouts.
• Attend meetings with clients, sub-contractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth communication and collaboration.
• Liaise with the electrical coordinator, project manager/M&E coordinator, and other team members regarding equipment testing and commissioning.

Monitoring and Control:

• Monitor and control the overall work of the section, including budgets.
• Oversee on-site activities to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.

Quotations:

• Prepare quotations for small jobs, preventive maintenance, and spare parts in line with client requests and requirements.

Materials and Supplies:

• Plan and coordinate the delivery of materials and tools on site.

Preventive Maintenance & Certification:

• Coordinate the preventive maintenance schedule with the client.
• Schedule all preventive maintenance dates for the team.
• Certify systems.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5-8 years hands-on technical experience
• Electrical Wireman License A & B or similar
• Clear and concise communication skills., Fluent in English and Maltese
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective organisational and planning abilities.
• Professionalism and integrity in all actions.
