Lighting Technician

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Lighting Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of lighting equipment and techniques, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. As a Lighting Technician, you will be responsible for setting up, operating and dismantling equipment in any project assigned to you.

Main responsibilities will include:

• Liaising with project executives to understand project necessities
• Prepare a technical list of equipment requirements & a respective wiring diagram
• Ensure completion of the project’s audio-visual kit
• Prepare, load, unload vehicles & transport the equipment to the venue and back
• Setup, test, operate & dismantle the equipment as per client needs and requirements
• Knowledge and experience in lighting design, programming and electrical voltage assignments

The ideal candidate should posses:

• A relevant certification or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years experience as a Lighting Technician in a live event or production setting
• Strong knowledge of lighting equipment, including consoles, fixtures, and rigging
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy equipment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Driving licence B is a must. C/C+1 driving licence will be considered an asset
