General Maintenance Assistant

Our client, a group of companies providing a variety of services, is looking to recruit a General Maintenance Assistant to join their growing team. Reporting to the Head of the department, the chosen candidate will be responsible to:

• Perform various maintenance tasks, including basic plumbing and electrical works, paneling, tiling, and painting when necessary;
• Assembling/dismantling and repositioning of office furniture;
• Conduct preventative maintenance as required;
• Report any safety concerns or potential damage;
• Coordinate and assist in special projects as directed;
• Monitor work performed by outside contractors and ensure quality standards;
• Run errands as necessary using a company vehicle.

• Must be organised, practical, and trustworthy
• Must be capable of working efficiently with minimal supervision
• Must have a strong commitment to quality and workplace safety

• Proficiency in English and Maltese language will be considered an asset
• Previous experience in a similar role and familiarity with the use of power tools is a must

• Summer reduced hours
