Construction Helpers and Labourers

RM Developers Ltd in Malta is currently looking to recruit Laborers and Construction Workers to join their team on a full-time basis.

Overview:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced individual to join our construction team as a helper. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting site workers. As such, you will work closely with the construction team to ensure that all structures are built according to specifications and safety standards.

Responsibilities:

Measure and mark cutting lines on materials, using ruler, pencil, chalk, and marking gauge

Cut and shape materials to specified measurements, using hand tools, machines, or power saw

Assemble and fasten materials to make framework or props, using hand tools and wood screws, nails, dowel pins, or glue

Shape or cut materials to specified measurements, using hand tools, machines, or power saw

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements

Inspect completed work to ensure accuracy and quality

Collaborate with construction team to plan and execute projects.

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in shuttering or carpentry

Knowledge of construction materials, tools, and techniques

Physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions

Attention to detail and ability to work with precision

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Safety-conscious and knowledge of safety protocols in construction industry.
