Carpenter

We are looking for a skilled professional to join our team as a Carpenter. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of carpentry techniques and the ability to work with various materials to construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures.

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements
• Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials using hand tools and power tools
• Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with local building codes and safety regulations
• Collaborate with other construction professionals to complete projects on time and within budget
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times
• Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures as needed
• Provide guidance and training to apprentices or less experienced carpenters.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a carpenter or in a similar role
• Proficient in using hand tools and power tools relevant to carpentry
• Strong understanding of carpentry techniques and methods
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team
• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a carpentry apprenticeship is preferred.
