Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Foundation Equipment Operator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the successful execution of foundation projects, utilising your expertise in operating heavy machinery.

- Operate and maintain foundation equipment, including excavators, pile drivers, and drilling rigs, to ensure efficient project execution.
- Conduct site assessments and prepare equipment for operation, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to understand project specifications and requirements.
- Monitor equipment performance and conduct routine maintenance to prevent breakdowns and ensure operational efficiency.
- Assist in the training and supervision of junior operators and site personnel on equipment operation and safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, maintenance, and project progress.

Essential Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Foundation Equipment Operator or in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Valid operator’s licence for relevant heavy machinery and equipment.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices in construction environments.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and project specifications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities, with a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
