IT Business Solutions Analyst

Our client, a local retail company located in Malta, is looking for an IT Business Solutions Analyst to join their team, to bridge the gap between business needs and technological solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to document business requirements.
• Analyze business needs comprehensively.
• Identify areas for process improvement and automation.
• Streamline workflows with users to enhance efficiency.
• Design IT solutions with solution architects and developers.
• Create functional specs and system design documents.
• Ensure seamless IT solution integration with existing systems.
• Conduct testing and validation of solutions.
• Act as a liaison between stakeholders and IT.
• Provide project updates and gather feedback.
• Develop and deliver training for new technologies.
• Provide ongoing end-user support.
• Analyze data for insights and decision-making.
• Create reports and dashboards using BI tools.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies.
• Contribute to IT department's continuous improvement initiatives.

• 3-4 years of prior experience in software development
• Proven expertise in SQL querying and Java scripting
• Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Knowledge of enterprise architecture, business analysis, and project management
• Familiarity with industry best practices, compliance standards, and emerging technologies
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Relevant certifications such as CBAP, PMP, or ITIL are highly desirable

• A Bachelor's or Master’s degree is considered an asset
