Lidl in Malta is currently looking to recruit a Market Analyst & Price Checking Specialist to join their team on a full-time basis.

Annual salary: starting from €29.870.92

SUMMARY:

Joining Lidl Malta as Market Analyst and Price Checking Specialist you will be responsible for the monitoring of the Maltese market, and you will be liaising between the Head Office and the Purchasing Department in Italy in all respective matters.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

The main duties for this job offer are:

  • Assisting in management of assortment of products, in full compliance with the principles of quality
  • Supporting the Purchasing Department in Malta and in Italy in the application of purchasing strategies
  • Assisting with the selection of new suppliers of Food products
  • Supporting with the analysis of promotional activities
  • Market monitoring of selling prices and trend analysis
  • Supporting with the identification of seasonal assortment
  • Constant communication with other departments and with the purchasing team in Italy
  • Supporting with training and development of other members of the team as needed.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

The requirements to fill the job offer are:

  • Degree in Economics/Marketing would be considered as an asset
  • Fluent in English and Maltese
  • Italian knowledge would be considered as an asset
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
  • Previous experience in a similar role or in the FMCG market in Malta
  • Available for business trips even overseas.
