Andrew Vassallo General Trading in Malta is looking to recruit a Sales Representative to join their team on a full-time basis. 

Key Responsibility:
To assist management in all sales of UPVC and Aluminium apertures and objects, back-office, and administrative functions in order to assure an efficient service to our clients.

Job Duties:
  • Assist management in all the daily activities;
  • Assume a customer-centric behaviour;
  • Welcome and receive visiting customers and understand their needs to ensure that the company meets customers’ needs and expectations;
  • Create the right environment to reach and enable a sale;
  • Answer telephone calls in a manner that ensures a responsive service to our clients, suppliers and partners;
  • Issue quotations in a timely manner;
  • Issue and follow up invoices (including chasing payment) in a timely manner;
  • Perform secretarial tasks as requested by management;
  • Maintain courteous and effective communication with clients, especially those that are seeking information regarding any pending works;
  • Follow drawings and sketches provided by management to ensure that the final product achieves customer expectations;
  • Escalate potential issues to management in order to clarify and resolve issues before they become problems;
  • Follow attentively management instructions and direction at all times;
  • Maintain a flexible attitude and make oneself available to longer working hours, as necessitated, for successful job completion;
  • Report personal or inter-personal concerns to management to try and find effective and efficient ways of doing things;
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and superiors;
  • Adhere to established Health & Safety policies and rules in order to safeguard personal and fellow colleague’s health and safety at all times;
  • Preserve and protect all company equipment such as computers and peripheral devices and report any damages immediately to the manager;
  • Minimise water and energy consumption when not needed;
  • Maintain a clean and organised office at all times;
  • Assume other tasks or jobs that may be assigned by management from time to time.
