Our client who specializes in the healthcare industry is looking for a Business Development Manager. Your roles and responsibilities will include:
Assisting MD in developing strategies and implementations
Identifying new business opportunities
Project managing key projects of the company while focusing on driving growth and achieving sales and profit objectives
Building and developing strong relationships with new clients, suppliers and maintaining existing ones, both locally and overseas
Co-ordinating with managers to achieve set goals and objectives
Preparing proposals, tenders and pricing for submission to clients, ensuring all client proposals are in line with company policies and procedures
Developing and negotiating contracts whilst integrating contract requirements with business operations
Evaluating performance by analysing data and metrics
Requirements
Excellent communication skills in English and Maltese
Excellent leadership skills
Tendering knowledge would be ideal
Background in medical or healthcare would be an asset but not a prerequisite
Education and Experience
Ideally educated to a degree level (Commercial, Business Admin or equivalent) or able to demonstrate equivalent experience
