Sales Person (Interior)

Our client is looking to recruit a Sales Representative to join their growing team. Reporting to the Floor Manager, the responsibilities include:

• Warmly greeting customers as they enter the store, ensuring they feel welcome and valued.
• Assisting customers with their inquiries, providing knowledgeable and friendly service to help them find what they need.
• Participating in stock control activities, including receiving, organizing, and replenishing merchandise.
• Monitoring inventory levels and report discrepancies to the management team to ensure product availability.
• Addressing customer queries and provide detailed information about products, promotions, and store policies.
• Handling customer complaints with professionalism, aiming to resolve issues efficiently and satisfactorily.
• Following established guidelines and procedures, particularly those set by specific brands, to maintain consistency and quality.
• Ensuring that all merchandise is presented according to brand standards and store guidelines.

Working Hours

Summer: Monday to Friday 08:45 - 13:00 + 16:00 - 19:00 - Saturday till 13:00

Winter: Monday/Wednesday/Friday 08:45 - 13:00 + 16:00 - 19:00 - Sat till 13:00 + Tuesday and Thursdays open all day person will work the on shift bases - Saturday till 13:00

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle challenging situations.
• Prior experience in retail or customer service is preferred.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Person must be located and settled in Malta, with local experience in the industry and/or role.

• An understanding of measurements, specifically sewing would be an asset.
• A background in interior design would be an asset
