About Digital Brain

Digital Brain is the technology and AI arm of the BL Group (Bajada Lyons Group), a Malta-based group of companies spanning energy, technology, care, hospitality and real estate. We build and sell SaaS products and AI-enabled services to commercial clients, and we are scaling fast.

This is a build-and-grow role at the front of that scale-up. You will start hands-on — selling, closing and shaping how Digital Brain goes to market — and grow into leading the function.

The role & the path

You join as Sales Manager, owning Digital Brain's sales function day to day: pipeline, new business, key deals and the small sales team beneath you. You report directly to the Group CCO and work closely with them on strategy, pricing and targets.

This role is designed to grow. On a strong first 12 months — hitting targets, building the pipeline and developing the team — the position steps up to Head of Sales, with broader strategic ownership and an expanded mandate. We are hiring the person who wants that trajectory, not just the seat.

What you'll do

• Own Digital Brain's sales function and commercial execution end to end

• Build and manage the pipeline — sourcing, qualification, conversion and forecasting

• Personally lead and close priority deals, including face-to-face meetings at client premises across Malta

• Direct and develop the entity sales team (Sales Executive + Sales Coordinator)

• Execute and monitor Digital Brain's marketing campaigns and content with the external marketing agency, delivering the plan set by the Group CCO (who approves marketing spend)

• Work with the Group CCO on go-to-market, pricing, packaging and quarterly KPIs

• Maintain disciplined CRM hygiene and accurate, defensible forecasts

• Represent Digital Brain at client meetings, industry events and expos

• Identify cross-sell opportunities across the group's tech cluster (HumAIn, BL Robotics)

In your first 12 months (path to Head of Sales)

• Establish a repeatable, well-qualified sales pipeline

• Consistently meet or exceed revenue and activity targets

• Build the sales team's rhythm, processes and CRM discipline

• Develop the sales strategy you would own as Head of Sales

What you'll bring

• Solid B2B sales / business development track record, ideally in technology, SaaS or AI

• Demonstrable history of meeting and exceeding revenue targets

• The ambition and capability to grow into a leadership role

• Strong pipeline management and CRM discipline

• Commercial acumen — pricing, negotiation and deal structuring

• Confidence managing an external marketing agency to deliver campaigns and content

• Comfort operating with autonomy in a fast-scaling, multi-entity environment

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management

• Full driving licence and willingness to travel to client sites across Malta

• Knowledge of the Malta / EU market an advantage

• Fluent English (additional languages a plus)
