A new opportunity has arisen for a Business Development Executive with a leading business support services provider in Malta. 

In this role, you will contribute to the company’s growth by identifying new business prospects, managing contracts, and supporting the coordination of sales and marketing activities. You will play a vital role in driving lead generation, strengthening the sales pipeline, and ensuring effective communication between internal teams and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research to identify new business opportunities, target markets, and potential clients.
  • Generate leads through cold calling, email outreach, and LinkedIn prospecting.
  • Develop and deliver customised pitches, proposals, and presentations to prospective clients.
  • Maintain and update CRM systems with accurate information on leads, contacts, opportunities, and interactions.
  • Support the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) in coordinating meetings, events, and follow-ups with potential clients.
  • Assist in the management of contracts, agreements, and related documentation as needed.
  • Work closely with the Digital Marketing Executive on content creation, including blog writing, campaign execution, performance tracking, and lead generation.
  • Help organise and coordinate participation in sales events, trade shows, and conferences to expand networks and generate new business opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence in cold calling, client pitches, and building new business relationships.
  • Strong research and prospecting skills, with the ability to identify and engage high-potential leads.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and tools such as Zoho, Buffer, Canva, and other sales/marketing platforms.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise effectively, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated, confident, and results-driven, with a proactive approach to outreach and client engagement.
  • 1–2 years of experience in business development, sales, lead generation, or another client-facing role.
