Sales Manager

V.J. Salomone Consumer Lines in Malta is currently looking to recruit a Sales Manager to join their team on a full-time basis (indefinite). 

Job Role: 
The selected candidate will organise, motivate, and manage a team of sales representatives and liaise with senior management to reach and exceed performance targets.

Responsibilities:

• Implementation of incentive schemes
• Maintaining and developing strong customer relations through frequent field visits whilst keeping abreast of developments within the FMCG market
• Individual with excellent interpersonal skills who enjoys working in different environments throughout the workday
• You will also be continuously monitoring for potential training requirements in addition to supervising, motivating, and monitoring the Sales team.

•  A-Level standard education or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar position within the same industry
• Be fluent in both Maltese and English
• Communication, time management & people skills
• Able to keep up in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and prioritize effectively
• Excellent commercial skills and problem-solving abilities
• Be a team player and have a flexible approach and a can-do attitude  
• FMCG sales and distribution experience will be considered an asset.
