Role Overview
Our Client is looking to appoint a driven and energetic Sales Executive. This is a field-based position focused on developing commercial relationships with hospitality and tourism partners including hotels, travel agencies, retail outlets, and concierge services. The role requires a proactive individual capable of independently managing a territory, introducing the concept to new partners, equipping them with sales tools, and consistently driving uptake and revenue growth through strong engagement and follow-up.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Development: Engage directly with hotels, travel agencies, retail stores, concierge desks, and similar partners to introduce and promote the Client's new offering.
  • Product Presentation: Clearly communicate the concept, value proposition, and commercial benefits to potential partners in a persuasive and professional manner.
  • Marketing Support: Provide partners with brochures, promotional materials, and sales resources to support effective customer promotion.
  • Partner Engagement: Encourage and motivate business partners to actively promote and sell the experience to their own clientele.
  • Relationship Management: Develop and sustain strong, long-term professional relationships with key stakeholders across assigned territories.
  • Follow-Up Activity: Conduct regular check-ins and visits to ensure continued engagement and to maximise sales performance.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track daily activity, identify trends, and assess opportunities to enhance commercial outcomes.
  • Market Intelligence: Share insights with management regarding customer feedback, competitor activity, and market developments.
  • Reporting: Maintain accurate records of meetings, contacts, and sales performance data.
  • Brand Representation: Act as a professional ambassador for the concept, ensuring all interactions reflect high service standards.
  • Campaign Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to support promotional initiatives and marketing campaigns.
  • Target Achievement: Deliver consistent performance against individual sales targets and KPIs.

Qualifications, Skills, and Attributes

  • Education: Not specifically required; relevant sales or business qualifications considered an advantage.
  • Driving license: A driving license category B is required.
  • Experience: Prior experience in sales, business development, or account management, ideally within hospitality, tourism, or events.
  • Language Skills: Excellent command of English is required to succeed in this role. The ability to communicate in Maltese would be an asset.
  • Communication Skills: Strong ability to present, influence, and engage with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Confident relationship builder with a customer-centric and approachable manner.
  • Technical Skills: Competence in Microsoft Office applications and CRM systems is preferred.
  • Organisation: Ability to independently structure and manage a busy field-based schedule.
  • Self-Motivated: Highly driven, target-focused, and capable of working autonomously.
  • Problem-Solving: Able to identify opportunities and adapt approach to improve sales outcomes.
