Merlin Library is looking to recruit a full-time Retail Sales Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis. As a Retail Sales Assistant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and promoting our products to increase sales. You will also be responsible for maintaining the appearance of the store and ensuring that all products are displayed in an attractive and organized manner.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and assist them in finding the right products
- Provide product knowledge and recommendations to customers
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the store
- Monitor inventory levels and restock products as needed
- Create visually appealing displays to showcase products
- Meet and exceed sales targets
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner
- Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Strong sales and customer service skills
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Basic math skills for processing transactions
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 15 kgs.
