Key Responsibilities
Technical Expertise and Product Knowledge
• Develop an in-depth understanding of our products, services, and solutions, staying up to date on the latest technology trends and advancements.
• Analyse customer requirements and design tailored IT solutions that are scalable, reliable, and aligned with their business objectives.
Sales Collaboration and Support
• Partner with the sales team to identify client needs, propose optimal solutions, and create persuasive proposals.
• Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations that showcase the value of our offerings.
Client Engagement
• Build and nurture strong relationships with clients, providing expert guidance and support throughout the sales cycle.
• Prepare, in conjunction with the Sales team, detailed responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Information (RFIs), ensuring accurate and timely submissions.
Market Awareness
• Stay informed about industry trends, competitive products, and market conditions.
• Provide feedback to business development and marketing teams to continually refine and enhance our solutions.
Collaboration and Delivery
• Work with internal teams and external stakeholders, including principal representatives, to ensure the successful deployment of solutions and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and prepare regular reports for management.

Qualifications
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• Experience: At least 3 years of experience in a pre-sales or sales engineering role, ideally with a Dell, HP or IBM partner.
• Technical Skills:
o Expertise in IT infrastructure and cloud computing, with strong knowledge of product portfolios from industry-leading technology vendors (including servers, storage, and backup appliances).
o Familiarity with virtualization, containerization, and public cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, MS-Azure, Google Cloud).
• Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, client-focused insights.
• Certifications: Hardware certifications from HP, Dell, or IBM are highly desirable; cloud certifications are a plus.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to develop creative, effective solutions.
• Team Collaboration: A strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills and a customer-focused approach.
